The Cardinal Grand Cross in Action

The long heralded Cardinal Grand Cross has started to apply with Mars Retrograde within 5 degrees of aspect. By 22nd April the square will be in full bloom (For more information on the astrology, see ‘Jupiter Pluto Opposition April 2014: The Cardinal Grand Cross’).

But there is a lunar eclipse on 15 April that must also be acknowledged followed by a solar eclipse on 29 April while the cardinal grand cross is still in aspect!. Eclipses are known to hold significance by themselves but coupled with a grand cross in cardinal signs it is amplified greatly and adds to the longer term ramifications of the events that unfold over the next few weeks. Additionally Pluto stations, about to go retrograde back towards the world axis (stationing direct at 11 degrees of Capricorn on 23 Sept 2014).

So this article may be your last chance to get with the programme before the whole story blows and you find you did not prepare early enough. The import of the events that build over the next few days cannot be dismissed as insignificant or fleeting. There are global shifts for all to see - if you know where to look - and the world’s mainstream media silence is so quiet it is deafening. Unfortunately this kind of selective reporting is common, which makes all TV and newspaper reporting totally unreliable. Start doing internet searches on the global currency reset and consider the implications for where you live.

I shared an article on Facebook (where in the right circles you can also discover what is really going on in the world), courtesy of William Stickevers, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reforms of 2010 should have been passed by 10th April 2014. Apparently only the United States is dragging its heels; with the US congress failing to pass the legislation necessary. It is an attitude borne of the complacent notion that there are no powers higher that they have to answer to. It is an attitude that they may soon regret.

Three conditions make up the IMF reform:

First The US and Europe currently have too much dominance in the market, so Asia and South America will have a bigger say with Africa coming on board as its economy strengthens.

Second, the institute has to become much more flexible in the way it lends money to improve the fund’s ability to avert financial crisis.

Third the IMF wants to double the fund’s financing needs to avoid having to borrow from creditors itself.

What the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) have set up over the last few years is nothing short of saying that if the US does not want to play, they will play a different game of which the US is not involved. It is a game that removes the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency and will seriously devalue the Dollar in the process. Europe by default is also excluded.

And make no mistake, the change over is happening now and has been organized from behind the scenes for many years. The economic paradigm is about to undergo a seismic shift that will end the US Empire so to speak. China, the long hailed Empire elect is almost ready to assume the crown, with the full support of Russia.

Maybe it is not so surprising that the US Congress does not want to play this game. As Dominick Giammarino, on his website http://globalcurrencyreset.net says,
All fiat currencies are doomed http://globalcurrencyreset.net/what-is-the-global-currency-reset/ He also asserts,

“The coming Global Currency Reset (2014-2020) will be based, again, on the assets of the countries of the world.Example: Iraq has oil, South Africa has diamonds, China has gold, Vietnam has rice, the U.S. has, well, we have a lot of debt, so I guess we’re in trouble right?”
So when one considers which countries holding a fiat currency have artificially kept the value of their currency afloat via quantitative easing, you know which countries will see a devaluation reset of their currency within the world market. And while the UK (or indeed the Euro) is not mentioned in the quote above, it is the UKs financial sector that has been the country’s most tangible strength on the world stage, so what will happen when the world’s major banks, exposed to trillions of US dollars, count the cost of a sudden devaluation in their assets? Likewise the rest of Europe and the Euro is equally exposed but unprepared for the global reset.
Make no mistake, the cardinal grand cross, much heralded by Theodore White, marks the starting gun on a world shattering change that will have repercussions for generations.

As I mentioned before, the evidence of all this world shattering change is either absent in the media or distorted for the purposes of propaganda. For example, the Daily Telegraph reports that Russia’s announced attempt to abandon the US dollar is an impossible pursuit.

Jeremy Warner, assistant editor of the Daily Telegraph, expresses, in my view, a one dimensional perspective by standing on the sacred belief that the world economy can only possibly be worked through the US dollar. His flippant remark of ‘good luck with that one’  to President Putin is the kind of attitude that will catch many people out both financially and economically. It is this kind of hubris that will become part of the debris that has blighted the world system of money and trade for decades.

It is also the attitude of many governments, who cannot possibly deny that they did not know all this was going on and still maintain credibility, have not only attempted to keep the people of the Western World in some kind of controllable bubble by saying nothing about what amounts to one of the biggest world changes you can imagine this side of a World War. But one could argue that some, the UK government I can say is guilty of it, have gone so far as to lie by omission, assisted of course by the oligarchic strangle hold of the powers that be over TV and newspapers. Certainly at the time of writing this article there is nothing on the BBC news; in fact there is a dearth of information.

Who we trust to lead us should be called into question if this is the way we are treated. Is it that they think we can’t process the information or that we could not possibly deal with the changes?  Or is it more likely to be the case that, like every other question presented to the electorate – be it the Scottish Referendum on independence or a question of whether we should remain in or out of the European Union – that having misrepresented the truth in the first place, consecutive governments have attempted to promote a Western economic perspective as the only possible solution to the world and can still find no way back to how the reality of the situation? The Internet will continue to open the eyes of the general population and force uncomfortable reforms of political systems and accountability.

For example, there has been no mention whatsoever from the UK government as to why it - alongside 22 other countries - have already signed up to a swap system that bypasses the US dollar, SWIFT and BIS with China at the heart of the it. Why would governments do such a thing unless they knew what was coming? And if they know what is coming and how it will affect us, the people, why are they not telling us? You can bet your life that if your government is not telling you something it is because you won’t like what is going to happen.

To further add evidence to the likelihood of a global crisis, it was announced that Monsanto stocks plunged sending the NASDAQ into a spiral
Also, apart from biotech companies there are predictions that overvaluing of companies like Facebook adds to the likelihood of a stock market crash within the next 12 months.

Many sources have stated that 2014 is likely to see a stock market crash - and it is most likely at this point that a global currency reset will begin to feed into the collective unconscious.

Until then the smoke and mirrors continue, for example, as Crimea passes a new constitution that makes it inseperable from Russia http://rt.com/politics/crimea-constitution-parliament-inseparable-872/ the toothless sanctions imposed by US and the rest of Europe continue. With comments coming ahead of the meeting of the IMF and G20 finance ministers on Friday (10 April 2014) the German finance minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble said that even if it causes weakness in Europe we cannot accept someone just changing international rules and borders. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-26985252

The cardinal grand cross is now well and truly active.

I started to study some of the astrological events that led me, ultimately, to hone in on the cardinal grand cross of 2014 and all the consequences ending / beginning in a new Saturn / Pluto cycle in 2020. Way back in 2004 I wrote an article on the ‘Pluto ingress into Capricorn’ not knowing exactly where it would lead but knowing that if astrology was to work at all there would have to be some historical evidence to back it up (I am still in the process of assessing astrology as a practical tool). The last Pluto in Capricorn occurrence saw the US declaration of Independence in 1776, with the Americans pushing back the British and the British, denied revenue from the American colonies, having to rethink it’s financial future. Fast forward the description of this event to May 2004 and I wrote:

“So what do we learn from this? Pluto goes into Capricorn when a nation that has risen to greatness is on the back end of a war that has cost a fortune. So great is this cost that they seek to recover their losses in a grossly unfair and oppressive manner; So powerful is the need to obtain money that even companies become big and powerful enough to run other countries. The people suffer until the burden becomes oppressive. The control and manipulation becomes so much that they say enough is enough. They demand the unalienable rights of 'Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness'. Those who tried to impose their will on others were turned back.

Now which period of time am I talking about -1762 to 1778 or 2008 to 2024? Personally I think that the parallels are a little too scary to ignore.”

In the light of today’s current situation I could now revise some of the conjecture. The US petro dollar is all but doomed and the international dominance of the US is about to end. Not only that but the US faces its Pluto return in February 2022, marking the beginning of a new USA ready to emerge like a phoenix, perhaps wiser and more willing to play nicely.

From here I went on to discover the cyclic index introduced to me in 2002 as a work promoted by Andre Barbault that appeared to indicate a barometer for global trends, prompting me to write the article in 2008 The Barbault Scale  when the so-called ‘credit crunch’ in the UK occurred off the back of the sub-prime mortgage debacle in the US.

With the idea that the cyclic index might in fact be a way to predict future trends, I noted that, if this were truly the case, then 2016 - 2020 would be indicative of some changes equal to those seen in 20th century world war one and two (those periods being similar trends in the cyclic index). I wrote,

“Other revolutions in this decade may well include welfare systems, big institutions and old age pensions. Food is in short supply globally. All will come under severe pressure, with a need to reconsider seriously how any of the above systems have to evolve in order to survive. The world’s brightest people may have to bend their minds to developing new economic models. Poverty has not been eradicated under the current capitalist system because the current capitalist system does not reward fixed or low incomes; particularly if those incomes are hostages to the fortunes of the stock markets.”

Since I wrote this article in September 2008, in the UK I can demonstrate that the welfare system has come under attack by the government of the day in order to save money, big institutions / high street names have fallen; more so than usual, the watchword on the lips of every business echoes the Uranus / Pluto square demand for reform, food wars started years ago in the Philippines as the Uranus Pluto square got underway and only yesterday (April 10 2014) there were food rations in Venezuela. The new economic model is happening as we speak. Everyone in the UK will retire at 67 instead of 60 - 65 and this year the government announced that people will be able to claim their pension rather than be forced to buy an annuity from the company they saved with... and the decade is not even half over yet.

Mundane astrologer Theodore White, speaks of the ‘mutable years’ beginning September 2015 when the Lunar North Node enters the mutable sign of Virgo, thus placing the focus on change and uncertainty. Saturn will also have moved into the mutable sign of Sagittarius with Jupiter firmly established in Virgo. The North Node remains in Virgo until April 2017.

How we come out at the other end of this period is the subject of another article. Suffice it to say for the purpose of this article it is important to know that these mutable middle years lie just ahead of us and everything mundane astrologers have talked about regarding the cyclic index and the cardinal grand cross is being demonstrated as something more than mere speculation or conjecture. As I said in my next article ‘The Barbault Warnings’ (April 2009)

At some point in the future we will all have to pay for the money we spend today. I believe that it is right to repair the world financial system, even though I heartily disagree with the system itself. Having some system, however, is better than no system at all. In the UK we will host the Olympic Games in 2012 (a nice plus figure this year) but after the euphoria of the games, then the reality of the consequences we must face will bring us all down to earth. It sounds almost biblical but I believe we will face 7 years of hardship from 2014 – 2020. The worst of those years is 2017 with a figure of -496; the only times in the 20th century that there have been years of -496 and worse are 1915 and 1938 to 1941. And it is a sustained seven-year string of minus figures meaning that if there is any sign the recession is getting better by 2010, as I believe it will, it is merely the lull before the storm. I hope this gives you some sort of proportion as to what I believe we may be facing.”

And again in May 2012 I went further in my article Barbault: The Prediction Revealed by saying,

So before I offer you the evidence supported by the planetary cycles that pertain to future events, I wish to make it plain from the start that my findings support the notion that there will be a global economic depression from 2016 (possibly up to a year earlier) to 2020. It is my belief that because the causes have already happened we are merely going to witness the effects. But it will not be pleasant and I do not rule out the possible spin offs of hostility, poverty and destitution. No one will come out of it unscathed. I do not see this as a pleasant prediction but a very important one.”

Up to this point I, like many astrologers, had worked almost independently. Then through the wonders of the Internet I found similar trains of thought with Theodore White and WIlliam Stickevers, both eminent and well respected mundane astrologers. But the fact remains that we all arrived at similar conclusions independent of the other, which in my opinion validates the scientific need for verification and independent observation.

Since then I have had the privilege to be part of a group of mundane astrologers working towards a common cause, with truth at the heart of the intention to reveal how far we can interpret cause and effect. The year 2020 is the ending of the current 33-year Saturn / Pluto cycle, which is why I have yet to look beyond that period. Indeed there is still much to look at before predictions for the new cycle starting 2020 will make sense.

There has been a lot of work in preparation before the cardinal grand cross, most of which for me was to understand the cyclic index. But now we are here and we can see that the global currency reset is the central theme that must affect everyone in the world, it is like reaching the top of a hill and only now can we see what lies on the other side. The rest of this cycle will be devoted to how we get there. The dangers are many. Uncertainty will exist at every turn. The Wheel of Fortune is turning and those at the top are about to come crashing down. We cannot expect the old order to go peacefully and we cannot rely on our governments to worry less about the country and more about the people; stupid but true.
We now have to focus on how to prepare for the middle mutable years in the full knowledge that these uncertain times lie ahead. We can expect money to devalue, especially where quantitative easing has been used to bolster the economy. We can therefore also expect the initial dangers of inflation and shortages of food. Some people in the UK have already started thinking about the local production of produce to offset the coming storms. For the moment we must consider seriously the basics of survival. If the transition of changes also include the shortage of gas as a means for warmth, we have but a short time to get ready - perhaps one more winter before energy becomes rare or is too expensive.
“There will be no World War III but just as war is raging in many countries right now, so many more must inevitably rise up and join the clamour for old powers to make way for fair and sustainable reform. Any who hold onto power by wealth or by oppression can and will be challenged strongly in order to create a better way of life. In some cases that opposition may manifest itself in physical conflict.”
Be under no illusion that the transition is going to be pretty or well ordered. For the moment it might seem that everything I have said here is a storm in a teacup; there are no world shattering changes in evidence and the world carries on as it did last week and the week before. The last of the seven Uranus / Pluto squares is in March 2015, which implies that the reforms by then will be all but prepared and all one then has to do is carry them out. But before then the fifth Uranus / Pluto square hits on 21 April 2014 and the sixth on 15 December 2014. So there is still more to come this year and I expect those events will come suddenly. As William Stickevers has said so many times of 2014 in his articles ‘BOOM’.
So here we are at the cardinal grand cross and if you have read this far, you cannot say that you have not been warned. Watch carefully what happens when the stock market crashes. That, in my opinion, will be when the rug is pulled from the feet of the Western world.

Lunation 29 April 2014 and Grand Trine

I am writing this article as of 25 March 2014, meaning that we are only a few weeks until the Cardinal Grand Cross hits it’s greatest moment of tension. The Jupiter Pluto opposition with Uranus in T square has been discussed in previous posts and it will only take Mars, now just three weeks from forming the Cardinal Grand Cross to ramp up global tension to a height we have yet to witness.

The Cardinal Grand Cross is also discussed in previous posts, so I am not going to duplicate the same information here but suffice it to say the global events that will ultimately expose what no longer works and has no alternative but to change, is the battle ground on which a new world order will be fought; this includes (and the list is not exhaustive) world currencies, trade, corporate power, governments and international relations. In the last years since 2008 we have seen systems start to crumble, like the sub prime mortgage generating the global recession, then the Arab Spring leading to civil unrest in many countries and recently the annexation of Crimea where no solution is remotely possible without conflict.

The event of global reform was predicted and published by a few mundane astrologers but largely ignored. I expect the predictions to come over the next six years as we witness the painful transition into a new societal structure to be ignored also, but this astrologer assures you it will come regardless. Some evidence of what was predicted now lies behind us. What is to come is also predicted and may help those prepared to listen and act while the opportunity to prepare for what must come remains.

We have seen the world structures and regimes crumble in six short years What we have not seen yet is how the world tends to change for the better. And we will not see it in 2014 either but the Cardinal Grand Cross will lay bare the problems and why in finding the solution it is impossible to keep the status quo as it is. Something / someone / people among the ‘haves’ have got to share or people among the ‘have nots’ will die (in areas of conflict will continue to die) by the thousands. ....And what is notable is that ‘we the people’ will act within the collective unconscious as judges of those with predatory and ruthless intentions or those who are morally barren and self serving. So those who do not become part of the solution will be consigned to the rubbish heap of history.

As the group ‘Anonymous’ state; ‘We do not forgive. We do not forget.’

The Cardinal Grand Cross manifests as Mars applies as early as 11 April 2014 but will reach it’s greatest intensity at the full moon and total lunar eclipse of 15 April 2014. I expect the closing of this lunar cycle to be incredibly intense, as the Cardinal Grand Cross remains strong until Mars pulls out of reach to Jupiter on 4 May 2014.

So when the lunation of 29 April appears at 8.51 of Taurus, the Cardinal Grand Cross will still apply. Every planet is in aspect to something but the most prominent of these aside from the Grand Cross is a Sun / Moon semi square to Venus and a Grand Cross in water between Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron.

The semi square shows the tensions between powers and which values they aspire to promote. Where the lunation is inconjunct to Mars in Libra, Venus is inconjunct to the North Node that is also in Libra. Both views postulate the sentiment of fairness but from alternate perspectives. In some ways this typifies the problems faced within the Cardinal Grand Cross where neither position has a monopoly or a consensus of what is right or wrong. When this lunation begins, people will begin to see how messy the situation becomes.

Emotions are set to run high. Opposing sides will be seeking change but only from their opponent. Where the Cardinal Grand Cross runs for 24 days, the Grand Water Trine will run for 51 days; starting 26 April 2014 and ending 16 June 2014. It is enough time for everyone to get thoroughly bogged down into a war of attrition with no appreciable forward progress remotely possible; watch out for the brief grand sextile on 9 May 2014 but it is fleeting and whatever opportunity is presented will be passed over.

The Grand Water Trine is made up of Jupiter, Saturn and Chiron. The relationship between Jupiter and Saturn, the societal planets are well document but how Chiron impacts on society is perhaps a good opportunity to see how strongly Chiron influences societal behaviour and in what way.

Chiron, according to mythology, received a wound from Hercules that could never heal. In the world today there are a number of such wounds; one of the most obvious being the almost 100 year conflict that is Israel and Palestine. Another is the growing chasm between the haves and the have nots. Money, that has no real value since it is largely conjured out of thin air by banks, influences political will, ideology and stifles technological / medical / social advancement where profit is either threatened or absent.

Society has generally tried to work within the structure set out for it by its leaders. And yet we have to consider why today our prisons are bursting at the seems, millions live a poor existence through lack of money or employment and even in this so called enlightened age there are nations ill at ease with each other. In short, it is blatantly obvious that the current system does not work.

The root cause of the current ‘wound’ is being pointed squarely at money; whether this be through the petrodollar, investment banks, fractional reserve banking, usury or simply the way the capitalist system is designed to syphon all the money from the poor to the rich. Politicians, bought and paid for by the very corporations who want to see their self interest continue, become part of the problem because they do not serve the people who elected them. This makes the entire system rotten to the core.

So expect Chiron to putrefy the rotting flesh on the bones of a dying societal system, amplifying the wound until it is too big to miss. Jupiter still opposes Pluto until 26 May 2014 and Jupiter is the first to leave the Cardinal Grand Cross, meaning that the seeds of mistrust and separation are sown, ever wider as individual nations take their usual pointless patriotic perspective, where a global solution is the only thing that can work.

Chiron is traveling through the sign of Pisces, highlighting all the inherent problems with large corporations, government departments, the welfare system, hospitals, prisons, drugs, oil and anything to do with an oppressor putting down the underdog. There is lots to choose from here as all examples are very much live and active at present.

A Grand Trine is basically a rut from which there can be no escape until some friction is applied. It is therefore interesting to note that the Grand Trine will manifest while the Cardinal Grand Cross still applies. It means that there is an answer that is palatable but it would mean getting outside one’s comfort zone, stop rolling out the standard responses, making a few compromises and generally accepting the obvious demise of the present status quo. The have nots are willing to do this already because they have nothing left to lose, so no prizes for guessing who doesn’t want to play ball.

By the same token I expect an element of the inevitable protests that the warmth of spring generates to become violent, even though a majority of protesters wish to deny violent methods. The difference will be that the violent protesters are as much outmoded and outdated as the systems they protest against. The non violent protesters are those who understand that change cannot effected successfully by force of fist but by force of will. So the violent protesters, playing into the hands of the establishment will change nothing; if anything it will make it that much harder for non violent protesters to use marching as a tool of mass expression. The solar eclipse tied to this lunation suggests a wasting of energy; violent protest fits the bill quite nicely.

I expect a contagion of finger pointing with much mud slinging and little progress. The economic impact on society will be gradual but profound because whatever happens during this time will be entrenched, locked down and designed for self protection. By the time the Grand Water Trine ends there will be much bad blood with the likelihood of trade agreements in tatters where disagreements on a political level spill over into economic and social ties. In fact I would not be at all surprised to see vigilante hits on the shops of other nations where hatred foments in the stench of a corrupt system that cannot be changed without global cooperation.

The 29 April lunation occurs in the 8th house of the UK 1801 chart, implying an ongoing interest in the values of others (and probably sticking one’s nose in with Mercury close by and conjunct Natal Mars). It is perhaps a safe place for the government to be while the it tries desperately to avoid its own domestic position with Saturn running rampant through the UKs second house of personal values / needs / resources; a position it will have to address directly when transiting Saturn turns direct and squares natal Saturn on 25 October 2014, insisting that the UK austerity is still the only way forward but all evidence suggests to the contrary; and even implies harsher times to come.

Venus rides the sixth house just past an inconjunct with Natal Saturn (eleventh house). Perhaps the evidence at this point will crush forever the Conservative Party’s mantra that we are ‘all in this together’. We will see perhaps more strikes for money, particularly from large government institutions, which will create more disruption to society at large.

The Grand Water Trine places Jupiter (Cancer) in the UK tenth house - still very active in the Grand Cross, Saturn (Scorpio) in the second house and Chiron (Pisces) in the sixth house. The leaders of the United Kingdom have always kept one eye on the ‘standing’ of the UK on the world stage. And yet as empires rise and fall, so must even the most influential of countries take turns to reach the heights of power.

Chiron in the sixth house implies an ailing workforce, army and infrastructure. So although the focus of the UK will be predominantly outside of itself, one might argue that the country is starting to develop a limp and would do well to sort out one’s own house before criticising another. A civilsed country is measure by how it treats the poor and disadvantaged. In an effort to save money and generate more income, the government has punished the poor for the sins of the rich while rewarding the rich in the hope of making money. People with disabilities have committed suicide as a direct result of government policy. Expect more of the same while these policies continue.

Chiron will travel through the sixth house until 2020 when the new conjunctions with Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto attempts to drive through a new world order. So this present government’s perspective of welfare cheats, shirkers and failing feckless families is symbolised by Chiron in the sixth but it is an unhelpful insight, as its remedy is to use more and greater draconian measures to force people off benefits and into work, even if there is no work or employers willing to take them on. Solar Arc Pluto is in conjunction with Natal Uranus in the twelfth house. Reform of large institutions has been both ideological and experimental and with no particular mandate from the people. Hence the likelihood is that many current laws and policies implemented by this government will be repealed by the next.

Jupiter and Saturn trine exact on 24 May 2014 just a few days before the Gemini lunation. The Moon / Uranus conjunction at this event implies how easy it might be to break away from previously esteemed connections. The Grand Water Trine does appear to symbolise a race to the bottom and no one is likely to come out the other end untainted.

Governments, I hope, will keep a cool head and should try not to do anything rash or make empty threats. Time may need to pass before meaningful talks and negotiations can bear fruit. Avoiding unnecessary conflict would be a great start.

Lunation 1st March 2014

March 1st 2014, a new moon (the first of two in March) at 10:39 of Pisces makes aspect by semi square to Venus at 26 of Capricorn and is sesquiquadrate to Mars at 27 Libra that is stationary and about to go retrograde. Venus and Mars are also in square to each other. Furthermore, the stationary Mars is on the conjunction degree of the present Saturn Pluto cycle. It all adds up to powerful lunation that will change the direction of the lives of people in the UK and may be a contributor to how the world evolves in 2020 at the new Saturn Pluto conjunction.

On the day of this lunation, Mars starts to travel towards the point where it completes the Grand Cardinal Cross. So we should expect to see the stage being set for the most significant crisis moments in this decade. Anyone who wishes to mitigate the more harmful effects of the cardinal grand cross should now pay much more attention to world events.

Within this lunation there will be the budget speech (19 March) made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer. No doubt people will expect to hear about further cuts to public spending and further austerity measures. We can expect to hear greater attacks on welfare spending and a war on waste.

With Neptune also in Pisces, we can expect confabulated statistics designed to demonstrate how well the government is doing and to give the impression that austerity is not only working but is instrumental to the economic recovery.

The Venus Mars square implies the likelihood that the effect will be to put the breaks on personal spending and make people consider seriously the direction that their life and job is going.

The Jupiter Pluto opposition, still within orb, straddles the MC / IC axis, sticking a marker straight into foundation of this lunation and also applying by trine and sextile respectively to the lunation.

In fact, the only planets not in aspect to the lunation is a Mercury (Aquarius) Saturn (Scorpio) fixed square with Mercury also stationary but about to go direct. This is perhaps a significant aspect that may develop into a tense negotiating conflict up to 11th March. The chances of fundamental disagreement to the point of intransigence will probably sit uncomfortably with people in authority and those involved in policing and order.

Aside from Jupiter at the root of the chart, all other planets are above the horizon, suggesting that there is a ‘what you see is what you get’ openness to this lunation. However, if we consider the lunation in conjunction with the UK 1801 chart, the entire planetary position is flipped, putting Jupiter at the top and everything else below the horizon. This begs the question as to what might been presented as truth and openness is actually the complete opposite; many questions around the deaths of 6 bankers inside a month is a good example. The main stream media in the UK picked up on the man who ‘jumped’ from the JP Morgan building, presented as a suicide. He was in fact one of a number of ‘jumpers’ and while the likelihood of suicide by jumping is not unheard of, suicide by punching 10 nails from a nail gun into the back of your head stretches the plausibility a bit too far. The fact that they all knew each other and worked in the same area of banking is the stuff of what makes conspiracy theories. Somehow I believe that all is not as it seems and we should be wary of what the powers that be would like us to believe.

The lunation is in the UKs 6th house of work. Undoubtedly the Conservative’s mantra of supporting ‘hard working people’ will be wheeled out in front of us as the panacea for building the economy, making the country prosperous and thereby keeping everyone as much as possible occupied and out of trouble. Of course those who are not working, the feckless work shy shirkers who sponge of the welfare state, are the most likely to be disaffected by benefit caps and welfare cuts. The problem at this time might well be that businesses are starting to cull their work force, the banking sector included, thereby turning hard working people into more feckless work shy spongers - according to the Conservative perception.

The lunation is also applying by conjunction to transiting Chiron, placing the lunation between the sick (Neptune) and the disabled. The criticisms of late building over hospitals and assessments of people claiming Employment Support Allowance will be joined by a new contentious partner; namely the collection of data to personal medical records being made available for purchase by insurance companies.

True to the divisive and deceptive nature of our present government, this new intrusion into the lives of the UK people has been moving quietly under the convenient cover of bad news like flooding (and the effects of the floods are fully expected to be ongoing throughout March) in the UK towards the first tranche of data collecting in March 2014. Everyone who has a medical file held by their GP will be automatically opted in.

According to the government, everyone should have been given a posted information card telling them that this would happen. I know I did not see it. I also did not know that I could opt out of it. So for anyone else who did not know and want to opt out, here is a link to show you what to do; quite simply you inform your GP either in person or in writing. For convenience there is a form attached to this link

The worst part about the data gathering is that there is a barely disguised intention to make certain medical information available for sale to pharmaceutical and insurance companies for nothing more than commercial reasons. So there is the possibility that this new invasion of our personal information may contribute to more expensive medicines and insurance products.

In these times, where people shrug their shoulders and say that they are just one person and what can they do to influence the reforms necessary to make this world a better place, here is a golden opportunity to protect yourself and send a message to the government that they have gone too far. Because if we don’t do this, the political class will keep pushing the boundaries of our patience until we do push back - such is the nature of the times we find ourselves living in.

More tensions are likely to impact the relationship between the coalition government as they begin to pull in different directions; the Conservatives to more severe restrictions and the Liberal Democrats towards the living wage advocated by the Labour party.  Labour’s stall may begin to look more attractive while the outgoing government begins to tear itself apart.

As the weather in the UK begins to improve, so the build up to protests that began back in November 2013 will start to gather momentum. Voices of discontent, rebelling against government values is expected.

I expect to see high passions but also frustration about what can be done to make things better. The answer to our financial situation is that there is nothing we can do; primarily because we are driven by global markets and the world financial situation is in a dreadful state.

Perhaps the best thing to come out of this lunation will be that yet more people are affected by austerity, welfare cuts, disaffection and so on, to become more engaged with the reasons why reform at the most fundamental level must be achieved. Until it happens we can only limp from one crisis to the next until the entire system collapses.

As one person put it at the Anonymous protest in London, change can only happen when those people not affected by the situation are as outraged and those who are. In another world you might have said, ‘there but for the grace of God go I’

We have seen sink holes in the UK this year. One can expect the foundation of people’s lives to be undermined by current political and financial trends. So we can expect a fairly explosive beginning to the first lunation of the astrological year when the lunation meets radical Uranus.

Send an Important Letter to your MP for the 2015 Election

I sent this letter to my constituent MP in the light of the 2015 election, bearing in mind that mainstream parties will be looking to their manifesto around about now. So rather than wait for them to come up with the normal rubbish, and expect the constituencies at large to suddenly become active a few weeks before the vote, I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to scrutinise their MP on issues that will have a greater impact than a penny on a pint of beer.

My MP (Waltham Forest, London) is a Labour MP. You are more than welcome to use all or some of my letter to your MP but do it in an open letter so your fellow constituents can see it too. My MP is also in a 'safe seat' but that may not be the case if he chooses not to represent the people's wishes.

I would be very interested to see if you get responses back, so you are welcome to place a comment below with a link. We the people need our MPs to represent US and they have not done a great job of it for decades.

The Labour party who, if nothing new occurs, will most likely win the 2015 general election are not crowning themselves in glory. They promise to put a freeze on utility bills (pointless) and say they will scrap the bedroom tax (fair enough) but there are huge issues out there that they and no one else is talking about that must be addressed. The country is asleep and the mainstream media is trying desperately not to disturb our ignorance. But I am having none of that.

So here it is then. Information and issues are widely discussed among many politically active groups and tends to reflect a left of current centre perspective; which is not surprising as the UK government under David Cameron is slipping further and further to the right.

Dear (MP name),

New elections will be coming in 2015 when you will be standing in the safe seat of Waltham Forest, an electoral condition created by the first past the post system that sits uncomfortably with me. However, while the issues with the democratic system we vote by, in how they favour the incumbency of career politicians and party dogma, must be changed in the long term, it is to the short term general election that I wish to ask you about. So in no particular order:

1. Labour introduced ATOS and the limited work capability assessment. No matter how the Tory party have been vilified by the short-memoried, the process was instigated by your party. Given that so many thousands of people have died within six weeks of being told that they were fit for work, what will you commit to doing and is the Labour party in agreement?

2. Labour relaxed the financial market that allowed the banking industry to gamble recklessly with investments and offer loans and products with imprudence. After the US sub prime mortgage debacle headed the beginning of the global debt crisis, Labour bailed out so-called too big to fail banks with tax payers money. Since then, the tax payer has paid for the crisis that the banks created and yet no criminal charges were brought against those earning fortunes to be responsible and no bank has been charged to pay back the money they lost.

Given that the crisis is nowhere near over, and Prime Minister Cameron has agreed, along with other European countries, to enact a law that 'bails in' the ordinary bank investor (thats us) should another banking crisis (an absolute certainty) happen in the future:

a) do you believe that it is right that the tax payer continues to pay for the banks mess?
b) do you believe that when the next crash threatens the central banks that the tax payer should pay for that as well?
c) do you believe that those responsible for managing our banks should be accountable for performance?
d) do you believe that the bonus system, which encourages inappropriate and reckless transactions should continue to support this behaviour?
e) do you believe that the high street bank and the investment bank should be separated?
f) do you believe that subsequent necessity for quantitative easing, designed only to improve the liquidity of banks, should be paid for by the tax payer?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

3. Labour introduced Public Finance Initiatives (PFI) in hospitals and other public buildings that has come with an enormous price tag. Hospitals have been under the threat of closure and reduced services as hospitals struggle to pay extortionate rents and maintenance contracts. The initial reason for PFI was clearly to build hospitals with private money rather than government money.

Do you now think this is a good idea?

While on the subject of selling off the family silver, utility companies that were sold out of national hands now charge extraordinary amounts. Labour's proposal to 'freeze prices' is merely tinkering around the edges of a much bigger problem. Utility companies, looking for ways to make as much money as possible, have no focus on renewable energy, especially if the profit margin is lower for them. The ongoing mess is further complicated by an agreement to allow a French company, EDF to commission a Chinese funded nuclear power station, to which the government of the day agrees to pay double the cost of today's prices; all this in spite of the so-little-publicised Fukushima disaster that is still on the brink of becoming the worst global man-made disaster in history. With this in mind:

a) do you believe that utility companies (gas, electricity, water, and also consider the rail services) should become not-for-profit companies, thereby concentrating the company to commit to customers first rather than share holders?
b) do you believe that fossil fuel profit making companies are the best place to develop and promote cheaper renewable energy?
c) do you believe that another nuclear power plant demonstrates the current government's commitment to renewable energy and do you support it?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

4. On the subject of fossil fuel, there is an execrable advancement towards the notion of shale gas extraction, hydraulic fracturing - otherwise known as fracking. Reports from people who have neither invested in fracking, nor have a vested interest in fracking, nor have been paid by a fracking company, demonstrate clearly that the process leaves dangerous chemicals that can either surface (methane) or contaminate water tables. Countries like the USA and Australia show us what the government and the mainstream media do not want us to see or know about.

a) given the overwhelming opposition to it, are you in favour of abolishing fracking?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

5. Labour says it plans to scrap the bedroom tax. Are you in support of this?

6. The Trans Atlantic Trade Deal, something not widely publicised in the main stream media and certainly not widely shared with the public, proposes that corporations can sue governments for future loss of earnings. This would allow predatory companies like Monsanto and Syngenta to push genetically modified food into the European market even if we don't want it. As I understand it, six of the 29 chapters of the agreement concern trade; the rest deal with corporate protectionism and rights that no corporation should have over a sovereign nation. This is an agreement that would have worse consequences for the country than the PFI scandal.

a) are you in favour of the Trans Atlantic Trade Deal?

Does the Labour Party Agree with your view?

7. It has been clear throughout my investigation into everything that is going on in the world that the main stream media, including the BBC (a private company with share holders) are not showing us. A caption on social media shows a BBC news presenter saying 'this is what we want you to believe'.

There is very little reporting about the Fukushima disaster. There is precious little reporting about global protests in over 38 countries (570 cities in one day) over the global austerity measures heaped upon us by a corrupt and terminal debt based economy. ANY government in support of this type of economy must count its days as the system sinks. Then there is the law to allow bail-ins should a central bank be in trouble and  how 23 countries, including the UK, have set up swap lines with China (Bank of China owned by Rothschild) to bypass the US Dollar (still Rothschild) in the very likely event of the US dollar collapsing, possibly as early as 2014. Surely there should be an objective news outlet that is free to tell us what we should really know. Instead we are being kept very much in the dark and fed on some unpleasant stuff that apparently the livestock industry gives to the food we then for buy nutrition.

But in the meantime, it is clear that freedom of the press is not present in either newspapers or TV so long as large corporations dictate what is shared. This is not news, it is a corruption and in my opinion should be labelled as something other than the news. The only real news at the moment comes from small pockets on the fringes of the media.

a) do you believe that the main stream media tells unbiased news?
b) do yo believe that the main stream media tells us news that their corporate owners would rather we didn't know?
c) do you believe that the BBC should be declared for the private company it is and the TV licence scrapped?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

8. Amazon, Starbucks, tax havens, phantom corporations, who owns Serco? Tax avoidance is an international problem that must be solved internationally. In the meantime, large corporations that trade in this country should pay tax by their trade. Our tax laws are complicated but the experts, HMRC have persistently put forward recommendations that would close a great many tax loopholes but because a conflict of interest exists between government working against corporations, the injustice is allowed to continue and we, the tax payer, get hammered for the shortfalls. It is unacceptable and every single government for decades have had opportunities to deal with it. Instead you tinker around with 10p and 45p tax rates, stick a penny on petrol and hike up duty on booze and cigarettes, which leaves a person on the average income no better off year on year.

a) do you believe that all tax avoidance loopholes should be closed within the life time of one parliament?
b) do you believe that recommendations by the HMRC, the experts, should be implemented in full?
c) do you believe that any corporation trading in the UK should pay UK tax rather than be allowed to declare tax in Ireland, for example?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

9. Corporate lobbying appears to get more influence over government policy than the electorate who voted the government in. The gagging law, which I know you opposed, was originally intended to kerb corporate influence. Yet it appears that corporations are getting even more influence as every other politically interested groups are sidelined and silenced.

ALL parties are guilty of this act of perfidy. If the political parties want the vote of the people it must be on the understanding that the candidate represents the people first - not the corporations, big business and overseas investors.

a) are you in favour of abolishing corporate lobbying, where the interest is clearly in favour of the corporation or its shareholders and to the detriment of the electorate?
b) are you in favour of allowing lobbying where the interest is clearly in favour of the electorate?

Does the Labour Party agree with your view?

10. I went to the 'Compass' think tank (my first venture) to observe what their members thought about how we should change and reform our systems and was appalled by the banality of the questions being asked and the way that many people cosseted their favoured subject matter. No one was bold enough to ask about how the economic structure should be reformed to favour small and medium sized businesses, creating the right conditions for local business to flourish, how to reform the Westminster system to weed out corruption and abuse, conflict of interest, cronyism and short term political thinking. No one was questioning (probably because they did not know) about these dangerous US trade agreements (designed totally to shoring up the dollar and dragging us down with them), or the dangers of genetically modified rubbish in our food, or the dire need for bank reform, or the gross abuse of statistics from the unemployment count (inaccurate) to the CPI / RPI fiasco, to the monumental misrepresentation of our welfare state, how the 'war on  anything' increases the problem (we should have a war on wealth), the abolition of poverty and the ever increasing scramble by local councils and government departments to claw every last penny out of the people who have it least.

And it is my guess that the manifesto of all three major parties will tinker around the edges of the real issues and there is a very real reason why so many people are disenfranchised with the political system. I think the country would applaud any chancellor who stands up and says 'there's nothing to change' and sits down again. The issues are far bigger than a penny off a pint of beer.

What is the lowest amount a person can live on (see any benefit letter) and exactly how is it calculated and why is it not published?

Education should be free
Tax should be simplified
Genetically modified food should be banned permanently
Chemical trails should stop immediately.
Fracking should be banned and local councils / MPs should remove themselves if they have a vested interest in it or any other dubious project.
ATOS Limited Capability for Work is open to abuse and should be scrapped.
The Bedroom Tax should be scrapped.
Governments should serve the people and not business.
Local businesses (a business with only one outlet) should be able to borrow money from a bank like a local credit union at minimal interest.
Nuclear power should be scrapped. Fossil burning companies should come up with a 5-10 year plan to replace oil and gas or have the project awarded to someone with a better incentive to make it work.

The list goes on but from the ones I have mentioned here, the question I would ask you is, which of those mentioned in this letter is ever likely to see daylight in any main stream party manifesto? And if the main parties are not willing to tackle the issues that groups like anonymous, occupy, 38 degrees, Avaaz and many others are shouting at you until they are hoarse, is there not an incentive to create a candidate to stand against you rather than vote for you?

This is an open letter and I shall be asking all of your opponents at the general election the same questions. I shall also be encouraging people around the country to send this letter (modified if they wish) to their candidates. I would like the people of my constituency to know, as I am sure you would to, what you stand for and if the party you represent agrees with you - but placed against the standard of a manifesto expressed by the electorate. Everything I have mentioned here is expressed at a national level and in some cases worldwide.

As I am sure you can appreciate, there are issues here far bigger than any single candidate. It is also far bigger than any one constituent but it is down to individual constituents to realise that the difference they can make is far greater than just the power of their vote. We are no longer tied to choosing what main stream parties decide to offer. Many people are quite prepared to look elsewhere rather than expect to vote for 'bad' or 'worse still'. But in reality, the political people best equipped to represent the people are those with political ambitions. This is an opportunity for all those MPs who say they represent the people to stand up and prove that they do by creating a manifesto around the wishes of the people.

Yours sincerely,

Shane Ward
